Francis explained my medications before I was discharged, so I knew how to take care of myself afterwards. My room was always decorated and comfortable. The nurses were informative and good during my stay. I moved a few times in the facility but each room/floor was good and I never had any major issues. I am able to order takeout and my family drops off food though. My physical therapist Chris was caring and saw me everyday.
Therapists are happy to help me when they see me in the hallway. I am moving around better and ready to go home. My nurse made sure my medications were taken care of during my stay, and told me what I needed to continue doing after my discharge. My room was always taken care of and housekeeping was nice.
Ventilator Care
The food in the restaurant "Chicoree" was fabulous regardless of whether we ate à la carte or the proposed menue. The spa area features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, a steam room, a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna. The only downside is that the spa area is rather small for the number of guests the hotel can accomodate.
The physical therapy is excellent, and the staff is very nice. The physical therapy room is exceptional, the equipment is great, and the therapists are fantastic. I have a friend who was told he will no longer be able to walk, but he went home walking last Wednesday.

We were lucky that the hotel was not fully booked when we were there. But even then we had sometimes trouble to find free loungers. Nevertheless, we would recommend this hotel for a short getaway. Hamilton Park Nursing And Rehabilitation Center is very good.

I was able to move around on my own to get water or help. Despite the challenges with my mother, she benefitted from being at the facility and from therapy. I saw a difference in her physical progress and she's continuing to improve at home.
When my sister and I go every day, the place is very immaculate. They help her with feeding in the mornings, at lunch, and dinner. She has her own TV and everything. The dining areas and the bathrooms are also clean. It doesn't smell like when you're going to other nursing home. I met with the physical therapists, and they're very caring too.
They show ways in which nursing homes are different from one another. There are things that nursing homes can do to improve their quality measure percentages. The quality measures have been validated and are based on the best research currently available. Yes, dry cleaning and laundry service are offered to guests. Yes, Parkhotel Altmühltal offers an airport shuttle for guests. We recommend calling ahead to confirm details.
The nursing staff was very friendly and always tried to help me. The stuffed shells and veal parmesan were very delicious! I looked forward to my meals everyday. My nurses and aids came all the time and almost right away. My therapists brought me down to the gym and really pushed me to walk; they were very helpful when I felt weak or tired.
I would have liked to see my social worker more during my stay. My nurses and aides were very helpful and always available to answer my questions. They were also helpful in sorting out the details of my discharge and medications. The welcome and discharge gifts were a wonderful addition to my stay. I don’t use robes often but it is a nice gesture. Ie.indeed.com needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding.
I will recommend to stay here to have taste of German Hospitality. During your stay, take advantage of some of the amenities offered, including a 24 hour front desk, room service, and a gift shop. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a pool and free breakfast, located on site. For travelers arriving by car, free parking is available. Needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding. Housekeeping was very nice and respectful.
I ask the nurses for almost everything I need. Very decent and nice Hotel to stay. Clean & tidy rooms however electric kettle is missing and no tea or coffee inside the room. Have nice minibar with soft and hard drinks. Great breakfast buffet full of variety. Staff is excellent and very well behaved.
I can walk independently and do things on my own. I couldn’t use the gym when I first arrived, but the therapists did good work on the floor. The nursing staff is friendly and easy to talk to.

Good rooms, workshop facilities and restaurant- the wellness area is also very nice. When the weather allows it the surroundings are great, check out the Storchennest nearby . Currently construction next to the hotel which is a bit too loud in the morning. Should time allow, Seezentrum Schlungenhof and Faerberturm are some popular attractions that are within walking distance. The food was good but a little repetitive. They also worked with my special dietary needs.
